When raising my kids, I had a few zingers that seem just as appropriate today, at this moment in time. I thought I would share them with you. I don’t own them, didn’t create them, or even profess to following them 100%, but I usually see one or more of them at fault when I fail.  Too bad our political class seem to embody the opposite of these gems.

  1. Want people to think you are smart? Know what you are talking about before opening your mouth.
  2. Don’t lie, it’s easier to remember the truth.
  3. You don’t have to be a leader, but don’t follow a loser.
  4. Pick your friends carefully. You will become more like those you associate with.
  5. Ignore hate, it’s a fool’s tool.
  6. You can waste a lifetime on being stupid. It’s easier but hurts more.
  7. Don’t let someone else define who you are or what you believe.
  8. And the one they heard the most,

Life is Full of Choices, and Choices have Consequences.

Vote November 3rd,
(but before you do remember #1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and especially #8)
