Thank you to everyone who stopped by to visit us at BCMC 2026! It was another great show, and we enjoyed the opportunity to connect with component manufacturers and showcase equipment and automation solutions designed to improve cutting, jigging, and truss production. We brought plenty to the show floor this year, starting with the ProCut™ UC Linear Saw and ProDeck™ Lumber Infeed.
The ProCut™ UC Linear Saw is built for roof, floor, and wall panel components, including webs, chords, sliders, and wedges, and it can cut up to four boards high. Six-position clamping squares securely hold lumber in place for spot-on accuracy.
Dual push-button controls and a clear Makrolon® saw blade guard provide hands-free cutting with complete visibility throughout the cut cycle. The fully enclosed saw chamber also features four 4” dust collection outlets ready to connect to your dust extraction system. The ProCut™ features a 16’ 6” powered infeed conveyor, 20’ exit conveyor, and servo-controlled measuring system for accurate lengths. Multi-pass cutting makes longer scarf cuts possible.
Keeping lumber supplied to the saw is the ProDeck™. Available in standard 8’, 16’, and 24’ sizes, with greater and custom lengths available upon request. The ProDeck™ provides a steady supply of lumber to the Lumber Infeed. From there, lumber is accumulated and dispensed to the sawyer for processing, helping keep material moving and production flowing.
Two Solutions Come Together at the Table
For Eide, one of the highlights of this year’s booth was something a little different: a Universal™ - Double Jack Table, combining two of our table solutions into one display.
The Universal™ Table is designed to add to and extend WizardPDS® Automation on an existing table line, even discontinued models. Universal™ Tables can be added to an existing WizardPDS® ChannelS® retrofit or included as an option with a new retrofit package. They work with all table and gantry types and are available for no-rail, track-on-floor, and recessed-track configurations. Most importantly, they’re built Wizard-ready for quick automation installation.
On the other side of this year’s combination was our Double Jack solution, designed specifically for jacks and small trusses. Jack and small trusses make up a growing percentage of production for many component manufacturers, but conventional setups can consume valuable line and floor space. The Double Jack configuration tackles that challenge by allowing production on both sides of the table.
With WizardPDS® equipped automation on both sides of the table, assemblers can quickly build two trusses on one table, using half the space of a conventional setup. The system can be used as a shorter, standalone workstation or incorporated at the end of an existing line, making better use of available production space while increasing jack truss capacity.
By combining the flexibility of our Universal™ Table with the production advantages of the Double Jack configuration, BCMC attendees could see another example of how Eide solutions can be adapted to fit the equipment, space, and production requirements already in their plants.
See WizardPDS® in Action
Of course, no Eide booth at BCMC would be complete without WizardPDS® ChannelS® Automation. We brought our signature operational retrofit tables to the show, giving attendees the opportunity to see WizardPDS® automation at work.
WizardPDS® allows manufacturers to automate as much, or as little, of their table line as they need. Systems can be installed across an entire line or strategically added to a section of a line to capture the bulk of a production schedule. New table installations and retrofit systems for existing equipment are both available.
That flexibility is at the heart of what we do. Whether you’re looking to improve cutting, jigging, truss assembly, or other areas of your production process, Eide works with you to find solutions that fit your equipment, available floor space, and production goals.
Built on Relationships
Behind everything we brought to BCMC is a team of people who put their knowledge, experience, and hard work into the equipment and solutions we offer. We’re thankful for the Eide team members who helped make this year’s show possible, as well as those back home who keep things moving while we’re away.
Most importantly, we want to thank our customers for their continued trust and support in Eide. BCMC gives us a valuable opportunity to connect face-to-face, hear what manufacturers are experiencing in their plants, and learn more about what they need from their equipment. We value the relationships we’ve built throughout the component manufacturing industry and appreciate every opportunity to help our customers find solutions for their operations. We appreciate the conversations, feedback, and relationships that continue to help shape what we do.
Thank you again to everyone who visited Eide at BCMC 2026. Whether you stopped by to see the equipment in action, ask a question, or simply say hello, we were glad to have you at our booth.
Didn’t get a chance to see us at BCMC, or saw something you’d like to learn more about? Reach out to Eide to talk about what we can bring to your operation.
