Driving across the Interstates with my rig in tow, it makes me think about the amount of equipment that will soon be hitting the roads on the way the BCMC. Although the Building Component Manufacturers Conference is still two months away, I’m certain that exhibitors’ plans are well underway. They’re sizing up what they need to pack up, ship, and set up for this year’s attendees. It won’t be long now!

According to Google, “Omaha is a city in the U.S. state of Nebraska, on the Missouri River close to the Iowa border. A stop on the Lewis & Clark National Historic Trail, it’s known for its pioneer history, museums, and cultural centers. The Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium spearheads conservation work and features a big cat complex as well as indoor jungle, rainforest, and desert habitats.” Well, all of that may be true, but come October, Omaha will be THE PLACE to find suppliers to the structural building components industry.

After the hiatus of 2020, it will be interesting to see how many people will be at the trade show this year. Will it be all the usual suspects, or will there be new faces in the crowd? Will there be mask mandates again by then so that we can’t even see faces? Will I see you there?

I’ll still on the road now, so be sure to let me know if you’d like me to drop by and see you on my travels. I’d enjoy hearing your stories, and you might even turn up in a future issue of The Advertiser.
