From the Spida Team

As we head towards Christmas and a well-earned break for everyone, we take the opportunity to reflect on all of the hard work that everyone has done in 2019 and thank our Spida customers and staff for all of their wonderful support in the last year.

Square 1 Transition to Spida USA

While at times the transition has been overwhelmingly busy, we absolutely love housing machinery, software, innovation, and hands-on experience from all around the globe under one Spida USA banner here in North America. Cutting and Measuring, Wall Assembly, and Truss Manufacture equipment means we have you covered for all of your manufacturing needs.

Additions to Our Machinery Offering

Spida’s equipment offering now includes the latest Linear Saws, The PieceMaker and The Tornado, as well as undeniable and strategic advancements in Wall Assembly – adding the Squaring Table and Wall Sheather to the machinery suite. This ensures the Spida customer base has the whole component market’s needs covered with just one phone call. Of course, the innovation doesn’t end there with truss production receiving its own retro fit Truss Manufacturing Jig-It as well as lifting and stacking innovation. Materials handling will be a big thing for us next year as well, so stay tuned.

BCMC 2019

And we hope you had a chance to see us at the Spida booth at BCMC in Columbus, Ohio. With one of the largest booths at the show covering 13,500 sq. ft., we had 11 semi-trailers of machinery delivered to the Convention Center, assembled in 3 days. We welcomed 700 customers in 2 days and a huge amount of interest was documented. Follow up is still being done with lots of positive outcomes for Spida and customers alike. We loved it!!

Spida’s Commitment to Our Customers

As Spida has brought Square 1 Machinery on board, we have been extremely proud of the fact that we’ve retained our staff in North America and are now such a strong unit. One of our staff was heard to say, “It’s not about the buildings or the machinery, it’s a group of dedicated people who really care about each other.” We believe and live this everyday…and we’re committed to helping our Spida customers in so many ways. Machinery is a cog in the wheel, and we have dedicated, knowledgeable people who look at your current process and develop a plan to add machinery to various parts of your current processes, be they semi or fully automated. These machines can make a significant impact on cutting, pressing, or framing as well as material flow and material handling. Software is vitally important as well, with Spida ensuring we are compatible with all major file types in the plant. We are just as committed to our customers’ businesses as they are. We believe in the Partnership.

Merry Christmas

Finally, from our Spida family to yours, we would like to wish you and your family the most wonderful Christmas. Enjoy your well-earned break and we hope to see you refreshed and raring to go in 2020 for what is shaping up to be a very exciting year.
