Safety First began in 2013 and the topics rotate every 24 months. This rotation schedule ensures that your new hires have access to important safety topics.
From Substance Abuse, Safe Lifting Techniques, Safety Audits, Workplace Fires, Back Injuries, or this month’s topic, “Personal Protection Against Workplace Violence,” the series includes good information for workers, and they can help reduce your workers’ comp claims and costs.
Importantly, Safety First, or Seguridad Primero, is bi-lingual in English and Spanish. That means an even larger percentage of your workforce will have access to information that you’d rather not be lost in translation.
Using them at your safety meetings is easy, too. Just print out copies for each employee and note on the meeting sign-in sheet that they were distributed to all who attended.
