Ask anyone who attended the Building Component Manufacturers Conference (BCMC) in September and we think they will agree—the best in industry automation was on display in Indianapolis this year! We at Eide were very pleased to be a part of the great show this year.

We know everyone will take home a mental list of their own highlights from the show, but the following are some of the best from our point of view. [For all photos, See PDF or View in Full Issue.]

Of course, we had our Eide Integrated Systems/Wizard Booth where we were able to display our Universal Table and Operational WizardPDS® Retrofit Tables.  The automated perimeter definition system is what gives our WizardPDS® tables their speed, accuracy, and setup efficiency.

Add as much or as little WizardPDS® automation as you need. It can be used for the entire table line or a 40’ section to capture the bulk of your schedule. New table installations and/or retrofit table systems for existing lines are available.

What’s more, our Universal™ Table is designed exclusively for adding to and extending WizardPDS® Automation to your existing table line, even discontinued models.

And don’t forget our separate booth for ProCut™, our linear saw series that’s configurable to any assembly line and provides a safe, accurate way to cut your lumber. In addition to ProCut™ with the ProDeck™ Lumber Infeed system, this year we expanded the booth to include Material Handling Delivery Systems. The Material Handling Systems deliver lumber from the ProCut to the truss assembly stations. This new Material Delivery System can be configured to improve the flow of perfectly cut parts and materials directly to your assembly stations

We featured Specialty Jack Tables that we made, requested by Desert Lumber. We retrofitted their MiTek tables with WizardPDS® Automation. The tables are designed to operate and build on both sides of the truss table, for their jack trusses. We also partnered with Scherer Bros. Lumber Co. and had them build the jack trusses shown on the specialty tables.

If we saw you in person at the show, thank you for stopping by!

If you were unable attend, please contact us to hear more about what we brought to the show…and what we can bring to your plant to improve your material handling, cutting, jigging, and more.
