Why Your Local Bank May Not Be Your Best Option

It’s easy to consider the bank down the block for your financing needs. After all, it’s close and you know the bank manager; it seems like you’re at the branch a lot dealing with the in’s and out’s of everyday business. But, is that bank always your best option for financing? How does 7.5% sound? As of this writing in September 2023, we can secure this type of rate for well qualified customers. We do not need a previous relationship to do it either.

When it comes down to dollars and sense for your financing options, you may want consider a commercial equipment broker. Working with a broker rather than your bank may make sense for these simple reasons:

  • Banks have stricter lending criteria. With a bank, you may need a good credit score, a long business track record, and significant collateral to qualify for a loan. In comparison, a commercial finance broker has a number of programs available for all types of borrowers, and the only collateral needed is the equipment you’re financing.
  • Banks usually have a longer approval process. At Acceptance Leasing and Financing, we have a one-page application. Once we have the quote and a few months bank statements, we’re ready to approve your request!
